Mon, 2007/05/14 - 3:03pm — greg232Would you guys recommend a tonelab or tonelab se as a practice amp for now. I live in an apartment and have a set of Sennheiser HD-280 Pro and thought this would be a great alternative to an amp. I could use this when I finally do get an amp of somesort. Or should I just go out and buy a amp now.

Thu, 2008/07/17 - 9:51pm — mself61This is Tonelab.net but if you mean try to immolate the G9.2tt's Metallica patch then I would just keep tweaking till you get it close, some have a hard time getting a good metal sound with their TLSE's without some help from other boxes. The G9 does do METAL very good (IMO).

Hi Everyone, Just got
Mon, 2008/08/18 - 8:15am — IkeHi Everyone,
Just got here, just got an LE yesterday. Love most of the presets already, that is through headphones. If I get the same results through my amps I will be axstatic.
Had the Pod,(hated it), Had the GT-8,(hated it).
I play Fender Hot Rods now, both the deluxe and the Deville 2x12.
The band I am in is doing a very diverse genred list of songs and I am hoping to get all the different sounds I need in one convenient place to avoid down time between songs to make adjustments to amp and pedals.
One thing I have noticed in browsing here is most info , particularly tutorials is geared toward the SE.
Are the two compatable enough for all the info to be relevent or, are there new tutorials in the works?
