Why, yes, it is!!! Once you download or save a patch to your computer, open up the TonelabSE Sound Editor. You don't have to be hooked up for this. Click on "File" then click open, browse to where you have the files stored, open, once that page on the right of the picture of the TLSE opens, click on the name of the patch and the picture of the TLSE will show you exactly how that patch is configured... Thats what I did before I downloaded your AC15SEM... mark (hp)
and if you happen to be connected where the software reads the TLSE patches it shows you all the names in there, just click on the name, make any adjustmen and at the bottom of the "browser" there is a button "write current program" and it saves it to your TLSE, now in the EDITOR you can open up 2 other files besides the ToneLabSE (tab) that opens when you start it, they open as "File 1" and "file 2" you can click on any patch in either of those files and go to EDIT (drop down menu) chose Copy, and then paste it to what ever desired patch bank you wish, even from "File 1" to "File 2".
Those that do not use the MIDI capability of TLSE are really missing out on a wonderful function. www.selfdistruction.com
Ok maybe I'm a bit ignorant but I don't understand the way the program works. I'm aware that I can open a file and then edit it, and save it someplace, but all I see in the Editor is that specific patch, all others only shows 01-1 and so on, what I expected to see is the current settings and names as they actually are in the pedal !
Net applications runs ok under linux, there is a interface called mono which runs them, but I have no problem restoring the factory settings at all, but thanks anyway, nice with nice thinking people
Maybe I am misunderstanding what you want to do. What kaal's application will let you do is export all the TLSE's settings to a comma-delimited text file, which you can then import into StarOffice (or whatever you crazy Linux-ers use nowadays.) You can then view the settings for each of the patches in the .tlp file that you opened(amp, cab, effects, whatever.)
His app does not interact with the TLSE in any way. Only the .tlp file.
So, to see the 'default' settings, download the "default Tonelab SE patches" file from this site, open that .tlp file in the Quickview app, then export the text file to whatever spreadsheet app you use.
If you are wanting to view the settings for all the current patches in your pedal, connect via MIDI, then save the patchset by using File >> Save As. Then, open that new .tlp file in the Quickview app.
ok.. good you can open others patches with the Editor. and yes MANY of them show up with only one patch in it as it was exported as a single patch, although one can export the whole 96 banks, it's more desirable to export the single or few you want others to listen to.
in some cases you need to click a "blank" or any other patch and the click the patch you want to hear cause the TLSE does not recognize it till you "SELECT" it personally.
So you understand whats going on there ?. or are you still having trouble getting it to work properly ?. if so I suspect "Wine" is not reading everything it needs for you to operate all functions. the above PIC I made is to see if you can tell me where you might be having a problem. After the hike OJ goes out for the pass and drops the ball causing a turnover and losing the game ! and the winning Quarterback "Darren Tollakson" wins another one. Ohhh yeah COLORS.... I like COLORS... and trails ... ohhhh the trails.. Far out man !!!. well I use classic style in Winblows XP, cuts down on recources for those demanding programs... and gotta have my COLORS... www.selfdistruction.com
Thanks for your effort in guiding me trough the program, I think it would have been nice to have real time update in the program, to ensure whats actually stored in the pedal !

here is a previous post that lists the settings for the factory defaults in .xls format:
http://www.tonelab.net/node/208
kaal has created a neat app in VB.NET that reads the .tlp hex data and allows you to batch export it as a .csv file.
http://www.tonelab.net/node/461
Alas, it probably will not run on Linux. Of course, you are probably used to that.
I suppose you could email me your .tlp file and I could convert it for you. PM me if you'd like.

Think I understand how the program works, and it all depends on some needs I have "or think i have

I can se your last picture's not containing any information on the actual settings in the pedal either, so wine seems to work ok.
