Three Buck Chuck

cDub's picture

I had originally released this patch and song under another category, but I decided that it was a poor excuse for what I was aiming for and it is better suited in the 'Blues' category.

I renamed the patch and song after my drink of choice. There's a good chance I was drinking it when I recorded this.

Cheers!

Notes:

Channel A is clean but a little gain-y. Channel B has plenty of OD. Tap the control button for MORE tube OD.

Use Exp1 to adjust the *slight* chorus mix in and out.

I used channel B for both parts of the song, playing in the bridge postion. The heavier part uses the pedal.

I downloaded the drum loop from www.siliconbeats.com

SAVED... After going through

SAVED... After going through some IE7 problems and uninstalling Microcrap Internet Explorer 7 cause it screwed up my Musicmatch install and now it dont work either after tring to reinstall it AGAIN for the second time this month, I finally said screw MS and MMJB and play your $3Chuck patch along with the mp3, its a pretty cool bluesy sound. at first I couldnt get why you made it till I heard the mp3, cause the patch seemed to lack the "dirtyness" distortion sound of it, so what I did was turn down the volume to 7 and turned the VR to 9 and it sounds a little closer, I guess you could use the Boutique pedal to bring out more but I decided to go VR and rename it 3$Chuck, it maybe the difference in guitars, the one I played it on has a Duncan in the bridge.
if you use Musicmatch dont install EI7 for God sake.

Thanks Alan. I do feel a

Thanks Alan. I do feel a little naked when I post songs. Especially songs like this one, where it distinctly turns in the middle and I know most people will cringe when they hear it. But I feel a deeper connection to this song than say, "The Pick is my Enemy", which is really just a "me make loud noise" kind of song. This one makes me feel a certain way whenever I hear it. So if you like it, cool. If not, oh well.

I thought it sounded great

I thought it sounded great man. Keep it up.

It is good to give thanks to the Lord and to sing praises to Your name...For You, O Lord, have made me glad by what You have done, I will sing for joy at the works of Your hands.
