Hey guys,
My sister is back in the hospital after having 4 strokes in the last several weeks. My other sis went to check on her at home and found her on the floor, fallen and not able to get up. She is scheduled for a brain biopsy Monday so the Dr.s can try and pinpoint why she is having the strokes. So far, they can only guess. Please pary that they find the root cause.

I wanted to drop a short note and let you know that it went well! She woke up with an appetite, which she hasn't had in a lil bit. Now, we just need to pray that they learn why she is having these strokes! The DR said there are no tests left to do.

She went back to the Dr for a follow up, and was informed that nothing at all has shown up on any of the gazillions of tests she had. She was in good spirits though, as she was invited to speak to a panel of 40 Neurologists. Seems after 4 unexplained strokes in a few weeks she's a "poster child" of sorts....oh well...
So, we pray.

Tue, 2006/11/21 - 8:35pm — eyema_believerThanks for asking Steve. She went back in the hospital Friday, and they sent her home today after another angio-gram yesterday. They found 2 totally unrelated brain aneurysms....2 cm long! Anyways, the Drs said they are unrelated to the strokes and that they won't do anything about them until they are 6-7 Cm long. They want her to go to a clinic in Cleveland that specializes in vascular medicine. It is supposed to be the best in the USA. This is just crazy!!
Please continue in prayer for her, her DRs and her daughter who is 14. I'm stunned.

Last week I led worshp at a funeral for an 18 year old college student who died in an auto accident last weekend. There were a ton of people there. Our pastors and church did a great job of just being there for the family. I was asked to sing the song "Indescribable" by Chris Tomlin. The lyrics made me realize that our lives are a gift from God. I know this time is hard for your sis & especially for her daughter. As always, praying for you and thanks for letting us do so!
