In post http://www.tonelab.net/node/462, Greg was asking for a crunch (not metal) sound with strong bass and tight highs ("something like Green Day".)
I've been using this patch for a while and like it quite a bit. It's pretty dry (with regard to delay and reverb) with scooped mids, so I use it (and like it) a lot for a variety of musical duties.
In terms of the "Green Day"-edness of this patch, I did a little play-along with 'Longview' and 'Basket Case' and found that it bore a fairly-close resemblance to Billy Joe's sound in those songs. Your mileage (and sound produced by your equipment) may vary...
