Due to the dreaded 'work commitments' not had much time to play around with the TL. For our next 'gig' I have been told we are doing Ziggy and Jean Genie.
Yep, im lazy. Any suggestions? Play a Yamaha SG through a 50 watt Marshall AVT.

Tue, 2006/04/25 - 4:03pm — rjaneshekI have been trying to dial in those Bowie/Ronson tones for a while now. I know Mick Ronson used a fuzz into a wah wah in a stuck posistion into a Marshall with a Les Paul Custom to get the Ziggy sounds but I have not been able to come up with something really good. I have a Les Paul but I have actually been able to come closer with my Strat. I gave up on using the Tonelab wah it just got too squirrely. I don’t think the tones I’ve dialed in are even worth sharing. They’re just not accurate. I would deffinitely be interested in checking out what you come up with or if anyone else out there has taken a crack at it. If I can find some time to tweak in the near future I’ll post some files.
