Hello people,, im new to this site. I heard about it from a mate and said it had great patches on it that you can download and try out..

Umm well ive had the tonelab for about 2 years now and im loving it.. please check out this vid and help me make my sound better.. -- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gs2_qnyJS-s&feature=related -- this is me playing lead guitarist in the band plaing Live and Let Die at my House Rock competition and school... I used the Tonelab SE with a couple of patches which took me a few hours of tweeking to get the sound i liked... i was very supprised by what sound i got out of the front of house speakers which was picked up from the video camera..

Also, could someone please help me. Ive been trying to get a similer sound to John Frusciante, I can get a very nice clean sound but when it comes to getting a very crisp distorted sound like his its very hard to achieve it on the tonelab. 1 of my main problems is that if i add the FUZZ pedal to my clean sound, all I get is a horrible bassy muddy sound. From my understanding the FUZZ pedal should be the equivalent to the Electro-Harmonix Big Muff right??

Please help as i have stuggled with this problem for quite a while..

Cheers

I have to agree. Even if you still want to use the fuzz pedal model use it with one of the Plexi or JCM models and set the gain low. That's what they do in the studio with the "real thing" to get that lovely saturated tone.
