The modulation control is bad, if I select an effect, the thing just goes crazy as if it's selecting every effect at once.
Does anyone on this forum have experience with repairing these units? What I need is the part number for the selector itself. Has anyone got a service manual for the SE?

Before you change out the part I would take the knob off the modulation control and clean it with compressed air. I would take the bottom panel off and do the same from behind as well.
