Mon, 2008/09/15 - 9:02pm — guitarmikeWell dude, you are definitely one of the best advertisements for the tone lab out there. Top notch blues playin' my man. Great band, makes me want to play!!!

Tue, 2008/09/16 - 5:43am — ChicoBluezNo Strat on this track. I'm playing my white Tokai SG-75...An excellent replica of a '61 Gibson SG.
I'm actually trying to get an early Eric Clapton/Mike Bloomfield "Chicago style" vibe for the guitar solos. Very easy to do with the TL.
Thanks!!

Chico - great!! But even
Fri, 2008/09/19 - 2:44am — KierenChico - great!! But even better than the new song I find that you have yet another mix for "Heaven's Dream" - its much better. I like the "strings" pads you are using - they are quite 67'-68' psych sounding. Congrats - but mind you the song would even be better if you took my initial suggestion and made a hendrix noise fest during the now keyboard solo. No offence to your keyboard player but it doesn't elevate the song and it doesn't match your fantastic guitar solo. More guitar I say!!!

I like the kbd solo as well, dont remove it. It adds some nice alternation to the track - and I heard the rumour that the world is not just guitars :-))

I also think the keys solo
Tue, 2008/09/23 - 6:47am — ChicoBluezI also think the keys solo gives the proper distraction to later go back into the guitar solo.
Kieren, Heaven's Dream is my dream and tribute to the legacy of Jimi Hendrix's creative genius and Eddie Kramer's studio gymnastics. It's my first attempt at recording with a "Electric Ladyland/Little Wing" mentality. For the most part, I feel I've achieved my goal. I keep thinking I should flange the ending ala "Axis".
Enough typing...I promise that my next CD project will include the most Foxey/Hazey/Purple/Crosstown/Star Spangled Jimi I can muster up. Seems proper to me to release the inner Jimi?
