Improve your playing noticeably in a few days
=============================================
Here are 3 excercises that WILL work. Full Money Back Guarantee. You do them anytime you are driving, on the phone, at a table, at a desk or watching TV.
(Assume you are right handed)
1 -- GRIP STRENGTH + DEXTERITY
While driving, grab the steering wheel with the left hand. Use the right hand for safety purposes. Change your grip so that the tips of your fingers are pressing on the wheel. The wheel usually is in the palm of your hand. But we want to grip closer to the finger tips. This is a good thing already. Here's the good part. Grip with all 5 fingertips. Now let go of your ring finger, but keep the others gripped. Now start moving your ring finger back and forth like a kid's swing or like you are kicking a ball. Do the same thing, but now use your middle finger as the non-gripped finger. Compare how much more quickly your middle finger is to your ring finger. Hmmm. The key concept is to explore and FIND what your hand CANNOT DO. Then practice that.
(Assume you are right handed)
2 -- FINGER DEXTERITY
At a table or desk, place your left hand flat palm down. Raise your hand up about 1 inch. Support your hand on the 5 finger tips. Put light to medium pressure is on all finger tips. Let your finger tips support the weight of your arm. Take the pressure OFF the ring finger. Move the ring finger back and forth. Make sure the middle finger is not moving. The higher your palm is away from the surface, the easier it is to do. If the excersise is too easy, then flatten out your palm and spread out your fingers a little. Also, the more weight you put on your finger tips, the harder it is. The more tired your finger gets the less independently it moves. Explore different combinations of fingers that are down on the table or moving freely. An advanced thing is to swing the free finger, but not at constant speed. Swing the free finger slowly, then speed up, hold at top speed for a momment, then decellerate back to a slow controlled speed. Repeat. Explore the speed of movement until you hit speeds and movements that you CANNOT do easily.
3 -- PAIRWISE
For both the excersises above, instead of focusing on moving 1 finger, while the other ones are gripped or stationary, do the excesises pairwise. Hold 2 fingers and move 2 fingers. Once again, find the motions you cannot do well and vary the speed of motion.
