It's the same with computers, TV sets, cars, watches, guitars, amps - you can always wait for something better/faster/cheaper/newer/sexier/larger/etc..

I am sure Vox/Korg will introduce something at some point in time. The Black Diamond amp (which will be shipping in October afaik) might be the technical base for some more next gen modeling amps and modelers to come. Vox does not make any statements about that, and there are no rumours, it is just my personal opinion. In the Vox forum, there often are questions like that, and Vox people never give any hints of what is to come. Take the Black Diamond case - I dont think there were rumours about a new modeling amp from Vox, so they seem to be good in keeping secrets.
With the BD, I am convinced that - as they obviously invested in modeling technology - they would be stupid not to "milk the cow".

But - do you want to wait that long? Can you live without a pedalboard until then? If you need a board, then get the board you want and can afford, whatever brand it is, learn to use it's capabilities, and you will be happy. Dont wait for something that might come. If you're unsure whether you need a board, enjoy watching the market and "wishing I would have" a board - that can be fun as well (and saves money).

If they do make one, it most likely will not come out until the next NAMM. Buy now, used, and put it on eBay or craigslist once a new one is confirmed (that's what I plan to do, especially if it has the additions from the black diamond).
