Its such a pretty winter holiday here in south africa, spending quality time with my tlse.
I was wondering if someone might know how to make (DIY) a midi USB cable for the tonelab SE. Its to expensive here in South Africa I want to make my own one,I just dont know the right way to connect the wires. Ive got the plugs(usb connector and midi port plugs) and standard cable.
Its such a mission to configure the patches without the cable.
Any information or help will be appreciated. thank you!

Sun, 2008/07/06 - 10:51am — mself61It really is quite easier to use the editor with the SE (and LE I suppose) I think someone mentioned they had a standard MIDI cable working for them (the one that uses the serial port), I'm not sure but maybe they will respond. if so then you might try that route because it will not take making a pcb board to make a cable I think, then you would also need a schematic of the UNO cable or similar which my be hard to find.
here are serial ports I beleive (game port the same ?)

do a search on "midi cable schematic" also "usb midi cable schematic"

I'm no techie so I cannot give you any help with building your own but that should be a start if no one else can help.
