Help!!!! Troubles saving patch changes using PC Editor and Tonelab SE.

Axel Montaner's picture

Hi,

Every time I change the delay mix setting, in this case from 7 to 4, mod delay, in PC editor, then write it, when I switch patches and go back to the patch it is still at 7. The same thing happens when I do this in the file tab and update the patch: it goes back to 7 after switching back and forth between patches.

I have tried removing and reinstalling the PC editor to no avail.

Can someone help.

Thanks

I think what Fire means..

I think what Fire means.. when you save the setting (write current program) then from "FILE" save it, it will save to the file you are working on, if you are working from the tab "ToneLabSE" dump, then you do the same but to make sure also use the WRITE button on the TL itself, then save again from the editor.

Hi all.. I have a EDIROL UM

Hi all..

I have a EDIROL UM 1EX Roland Midi to USB Interface, it was working fine and had uploaded a number patches to the SE, however I took the Se to a mates place a couple of times, and we had tweaked a couple of sounds to better suit our needs, however upon plugging the MIDI Cable into the SE, the Tonelab Editer Software says that a 'MIDI Communication Error occured and to check the cables and interface' I have reloade dthe software and have run out of options, and suggestions.

I have found it helps to

I have found it helps to have everything connected then turn on the computer. This way the MIDI device is "native" when your OS boots and you start the editor.
