Patch downloads

Shrubby's picture

Hi, i've only just started using the site (and the Tonelab SE come to that).

Have been through ths standard patches and those on the 'list of all patches' and not really found what i want.

Then found the forum where users have uploaded their patches, a few of these look really useful - but they aren't there! Around 50% of them lead to dead links. Can this be fixed? Otherwise not much point having those sections up is there?

Incidentally, the link to the default SE patches doesn't even work!

Oh yes thats a bit of a sad story with the lost files...

you can get a large patch collection in the meantime from Monte's site http://www.selfdistruction.com/, at
http://metradio.no-ip.org/mself/tlsezip.zip.
I believe it is quite complete.

Hi, thanks for the above.

Hi, thanks for the above. Have now been through each patch and found some useful ones in there!

I'm still struggling a bit getting the sound i really want, this being the sound off Springseen's 'Radio Nowhere' (the ongoing riff throughout the song) basically clean, just a little 'edge' if you know what i mean?

The nearest i have is the 'JSALWAYS' patch but at a high volume it's just too distorted (am playing a Yamaha SG2000 through an 80's vintage Peavey 100w valve amp) Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks.

when I get my snit together

when I get my snit together I will post the files on the google site. the reason I have made it where you must sign up is so we can control who gets membership there. if there is any funny or or suspicious names signing up we can dis-approve membership.

Aaaaaagh Clearly the boss

Aaaaaagh

Clearly the boss man of this site never did as the link to the Tonelab SE default patches STILL DOESN'T WORK!!

I'm sorry if i'm impatient and appear rude but if you're going to run such a site as this, why not put just a little effort into it and make sure that it works - it ain't that hard!!!

Jeez.

yes the patches are now on

yes the patches are now on the google site, you'll have to download the whole shabang to find the one you want but if you use Kaal's database program it should'nt take to long because if you load them all in then you can sort by name.
