Connecting TLSE using speaker cable

rojo's picture

I decided to have a read through the instruction book for the TLSE and on page 13 it was saying that when connecting the unit to your amp to use audio cable now does that mean guitar lead or speaker cable because they are not the same and if it is speaker cable has any body tried it and does it it make any change to the sound?

I had a speaker cable with me when I took my bass amp to a warehouse to test my 2 Hartke GT60c with my TLSE while step son played bass, I was getting a radio freqency in the bass amp not knowing it was a "speaker" cable, I kept thinking.. this cheap azz amp !!!lol then noticed it was a speaker cable, had to stop and use one Hartke only, 8( then I broke a string on my new EPI LP, but it was fun (AND LOUD) while it lasted, kinda strange playing in a completely empty warehouse of about 25,000 sq ft. 8)

Using a speaker cable for an instrument has yet to produce a desirable sound for me. Though it is fun if you are trying to make weird experimental music for the local college station to play at 3 a.m.
