Hi Anthony, the factory

Hi Anthony,
the factory patches for the Desktop ToneLab include a ZEP and a HEAVEN patch - try those for a starting point.

In the list of all patches on tonelab.net, you find the patch "4free 8tlse 12tl.TLP", which contains both the TLSE and the TL Desktop factory patches.

Hey. I tired both those

Hey.

I tired both those patches and they work brilliant for almost all their songs.. 1 i cant get quite rite is No Quarter which is very overdrivin but i can not get the right sound.. I tired putting the Fuzz pedal on it but that made it sound horrible.. I've tried a couple of other things as well but found nothing. Can someone please help i got a gig in like 2-3 weeks and i need a good sounding patch with good tone..

Cheers

Yes thats a very special

Yes thats a very special tone. Grumbling, mystic, distorted but very defined, with a constant fizzy hush on top, I can see the knights in the fog...

I tried a bit and this seems to be a starting point (I did not really get to the sound, but the direction seems to be right, at least for the songs feeling):

Amp: Black2x12 or Boutique OD (mids down a bit, vrgain up) or even Recto with a cleaner setting
Cabinet: Tweed 1x8
Pedal: Octafuzz or Fuzz (tone down, level down, gain up)
Play with the guitar controls as well (humbucker/single, bridge/bridge+neck, volume).
