I was asked by my Pastor to plan on getting in rotation for leading worship at my church. I'd like to hear from the worship leaders here if there are blues or rockin' blues based worship tunes or artist I can research.

My worship leader had no clue that the pastor asked me to prepare to lead. Since I mentioned it, I've been getting a slight "cold shoulder" from the worship leader and the topic seems taboo. I know how the enemy works and will bring up the topic again. No test...no testimony!
I'll keep you guys posted. Off topic....I picked up Bill LeClaire on keys. He also does shows with Wayne Baker Brooks. Bill LeClaire can play as well as Billy Preston (may he RIP).

We play a lot of Chris Tomlin, Desperation Band, Hillsong United, Salvador etc. Have any of you W.L guys gotten into that type of music? If so are you running your Tonelab to match the guitar sounds? To get the tones I like, I record a clip of the tone I want to copy and then record my guitar behind it. I then compare and tweak as needed. If I don't compare with something else, I tend to get way off track. For leads I use a boss 7 band eq and set it up with a 3 to 6 db boost.

I find the AC15TB works well with a lot of these songs. Does anyone have any good patches I can use with my tonelab LE?
