Never ending TLSE patch updating!

ChicoBluez's picture

As your ears develop and your perception of tone changes over time, please do not fret wink. The TLSE will always be there to change with your every whim applause.

With every show, I notice some patches work/sound better. Then it's back to tweaking. I have noticed that my mindset on tone CHANGES during this trial and error process. My point is simple. The TLSE is as good as your limitations. Yes, the unit has some limits of it's own. It's still very cool in my book tongue.

So true... I often find myself at times thinking that a patch is perfect and then I'll go to play it again and it seems it is missing a peice of the puzzle so to say, I still like to try and make them usable for live and PC use though and sometimes that is just a matter of an AMP/Line mode setting but other times tweaking becomes the process, I have lost a few good patches I've used with PC settings after tweaking for live play.

I spent time today, adjusting my patches.
And moving them around as well.
My next step is to save them to my Mac with the Sound Editor.
The editor allows you to see the patch parameters in great detail.

That's the spirit. Keeping things as they are works with some things. But tone is not one of them. The only thing that is the same is the pursuit of perfection, not obtaining it. The little tweaks and the ability to make them is more than half the fun of the TLSE.

I would also add, edit with your rig and not headphones. Too much of a difference.
