Van Halen - Balance

Fluehue's picture

I used Forsbloms Hvydst1 and tweaked it abit with Chorous and Delay. When I tried Hvydst1 and turned of the cab-sim, played it through my rigg it sounded familliar...Hmmm...If I add some of this and some of that, what can I come up with....W00T!??? Van Halen - Balance sound! When I play it with my rigg and play the song @ the same time I hear no difference at all...Keep in mind that if you try the patch and line to a pc with CAB-SIM on it´s not even close. I know that many of you do that but I always go through my amp and cab cause it sound better...The sound is warmer and has a better sting! I programmed the delay on the control stomper cause I usually dont use delay alot. I hpe some of ya can use the patch! Good luck!

And a big thanx to countryman Forsblom for the original patch Hvydst!

save, I'll have to try it

save, I'll have to try it through my PC anyway of course, but also some PC's have different set-ups as well so some may influence the tone one way or the other, juast as Chico's rig may sound a little different that yours

I really like this patch, I

I really like this patch, I though Balance was an individual song as well as the album title, as you see I'm not real big on Van Hagar stuff. but whae I was playing it I was trying to think of a van halen song that has this tone and couldn't think of one. BUT I did however find that this patch with my TLSE and Viper-400 it makes a perfect match for Ratt's "Way Cool Jr." track. so I will name it after that on mine. I did go and listen to some clips of Balance and it seemed a little different to me. But great thanks for the patch I like this tone alot.
