Hi Guys -- I would appreciate your prayers for me as I undergo spine surgery on Wednesday the 27th for 2 bad discs in my neck. Pray that the doctors will have wisdom and clarity during the procedure, and that I will have a smooth recovery. Looking forward to sharing here how God moves. He is faithful.

I’ve got jeep riders diseas, and I need to go for another operation some time late July after my holiday work. You guys can go on google and search for “Jeep riders diseas” its funny but realy uncomfortable!
I had to record a new riff I had, standing up.
God helped me recover very fast and I trust he will be with me during the next operation.
All it takes is a personal relationship with him , praying and believing.
You don’t have to worry we will pray for you and everything will be fine!

Thu, 2007/06/28 - 10:34am — jofroGod is good! Thanks to all for your awesome prayers. I came thru laser spine surgery very well yesterday. No pain and my spirits are high. God is faithful to His promises...He made a way for me...big time! To God be the glory.
Today, just one day after, I am up and around at home, sending all of you an email! If you know someone who needs help with their back, check out the Laser Spine Institute in Tampa. Minimally invasive - these guys are an amazing alternative to traditional open back surgery.
Looking forward to playing some guitar in the near future...

I would just like to add that God does not promise us perfect health/recovery/surgery etc. What he does promise us is that He will be with us through it all. His promises of a pain-free existence are only relevant to heaven ! Even St Paul and Peter (and James !) knew that suffering (financial and health) was part of His plan for each of us.
We need it to help us grow spiritually, and also, for the (unknown) purposes of His will and His kingdom.
Whatever the Lord's plans for you are over next few days/weeks, you will know that, as you are trusting in Him, He will work all things for your good (Romans 8:28, I think ?).
